Features:

1. Swing 3000mm face lathe is widely used to perform external cylindrical turning, internal cylindrical turning, taper cutting and facing on large disc shape workpieces with its diameter up to 3000mm;
2. This face lathe machine bed is placed with its longitudinal centerline perpendicular to the spindle centerline. On the customer request, the face lathe bed can also be placed beside the headstock in a place parallel to the centerline of the spindle in the headstock;
3. The face lathe headstock and bed are mounted on the same single-piece base to make the adjustment on the position of the face lathe bed more convenient and accurate;
4. On the customer’s request, accessories such as the center steady rest and the tailstock can be provided to turn long workpieces;
5. Top slide travels by 500mm to accomplish external turning and internal turning along the whole workpiece length up to 500mm in one single set up on this face lathe;
6. The base of top slide carriage swivels by +/-30 Degrees for carrying taper cutting;
7. All feeding movements on this lathe can be power driven, including the movements for taper cutting;
8. The feeding system adopts a frequency control motor which makes the selections of feeding rate more convenient;
9. 4 sets of 500mm length chuck jaws or optionally 800mm chuck jaws are fitted on the 2800mm diameter chuck;
10. A digital readout system can be as an option to be equipped with this machine for higher precision cuttings;
11. Machine base, machine bed and bed plate carrying the machine bed are made of GG-25 gray cast iron, and are stress-relieved to maintain long-term stable accuracy free from distortion;
12. Spindle is balanced, hardened and precision ground;
13. Geared head stock has all the gears and shafts hardened and precision ground;
14. Guide ways on the machine bed are hardened and precision ground;
15. One year warranty is provided.
