1. This PLC controlled hydraulic slotting machine is widely used to machine flat surfaces, mould surfaces (including arc surfaces), key slots in tapered holes, key slots in cylindrical holes, splines, squre holes and polygonal holes on parts. It can also slot parts set to an inclination angle in the range of 0 – 10 Degrees. It is espeically suitable for machining key slots in blind holes or holes with shoulders (i.e., stepped holes). This slotting machine is popularly operated in the single-piece or small-batch production in workshops;
2. On this PLC controlled hydraulic slotting machine, the ram and the worktable are driven hydraulically. Meanwhile, the worktable are driven by a special motor to perform automatic feedings and rapid traveses. The worktable can be driven by hand, too. Therefore, this PLC controlled hydraulic slotting machine has a high efficiency in slotting operations;
3. Benefitting from its hydraulic design on this slotting machine, it is more stable in operation and consumes much less electricity compared with a mechanical slotting machine having the same working capacity;
4. The worktable on this slotting machine feeds in three directions- the longitudinal direction, the cross direction and the rotary direction thus the multiple surfaces on a workpiece can be machined in one single setup of the workpiece;
5. The slotting machine ram reciprocation is driven by a hydraulic cylinder and the hydraulic transmission mechanism. The ram keeps a constant speed in every travel to perform stable slottings and its speeds and the worktable feeding speeds can be steplessly adjustable;
6. The hydraulic control console has the direction-changing mechanism to reciprocate the ram’s motion. The worktable can be moved both automatically and manually;
7. This PLC controlled slotting machine integrates the advantages of the mechanical control & drive, the electrical control & drive, the hydraulic control & drive to offer very convenient and easy operations. The worktable can work automatically by simply operating the manual pulse generator via the program controlling and input data.
