2. This roll notch milling machine processes rolls of diameters up to 500mm and lengths up to 2500mm;
3. Suitable for milling notches on steel or cast iron made rolls and tungsten carbide roll rings with surface hardness of HRA 80.5 - 90;
4. This notch milling machine can mill notches as per various international standards such as ISO 6935-2, ASTM, BS, JIS, IS, etc.. Horizontal equal-depth notches milling, spiral notches milling, skipping between notches can be performed automatically on this roll notch milling machine. One requests, it can be designed to produce notches as per your special requirements. Numbers 0 – 9, all the 26 English letters, company trading marks, logos, etc. can be produced on the rolls with this machine. This versatility helps the user to produce excellent rolls which can produce individualized deformed steel bars to gain more competition advantages in the market;
5. Machine base, work head, tailstock, etc. are rigid box structure with high rigidity and high vibration-resistance. The high precision ball screws are furnished on two Axes to ensure very accurate transmission;

Machine guide ways are supersonic frequency induction quenched with the heat-treatment made by a worldwide popular company and then precision ground on a Germany made Waldrich guide way grinder to ensure its high precision and long operational life. The bed ways are in combination of “Triangular plate and flat guide ways” in or to obtain high transmission precision retaining ability and high wear-resistance;
7. This notch milling machine unites the swiveling head and the flying cutter so that it can produce both crescent notches and patterns, letters and numbers etc.. Milling crescent notches and milling patterns, letters and numbers etc. are thoroughly continuous in a single process without needing interruptions or transitions. 8. Mitsubishi servo system is equipped with this notch milling machine. Many mathematical models are stored in this system. The user just needs to input the major data and then the system will automatically execute the macro programs to run the machine. No need for the user to take programming and calculations;

13. Flying cutting milling head, swivel milling head can automatically adjust their processing dimensions according to the rolls’ outer diameters. Both of the them can independently adjust its cutting parameter. During the cutting process, if the cutter is replaced, the control system can continue the cutting from the pausing position incurred by the cutter replacement. This machine has the power-off protection function;
